درجات الحرارة المرتفعة يمكن أن تؤثر على التنظيم الحراري لجسمنا, مما يؤدي إلى تقلصات عضلية ناجمة عن الحرارة قد تصيب أجسامنا والتي تسبب الإنهاك الحراري, وضربة الشمس. ويشعر الانسان في الإنهاك الحراري بالتعب والدوخة والتعرق الزائد ويمكن أن يسبب ذلك الغثيان والقيء, ويمكن أن ترتفع الحرارة ولكن في العادة لا تزيد عن 40 درجة.

في ضربة الشمس تكون الأعراض أقوى كأعراض عصبية مثل الارتباك, كما لا تسبب ضربة الشمس بالعادة التعرق الزائد لكبار السن وقد ترتفع الحرارة إلى فوق ال40 درجة مما قد يؤدي إلى الغياب عن الوعي تماما وتظهر أعراض كالتشنجات.

Her topic was about the role of big tech giants in revolutionizing the healthcare delivery in the future. Her talk was amazing and the audience received a unique perspective on the recent Telehealth platform acquisitions by the big tech giants in the healthcare industry. Dr. Hashmi is an MD with a PhD from the MIT’s famous Business School and IDSS programs with a masters in Systems Design and Management. She is also the recipient of the Titan Business Awards winner 2022 for her creative consulting business.

مخاطر تصلب الشرايين، المرض الصامت الذي يمكن أن يؤدي إلى وفاة غير متوقعة

تصلب الشرايين هو أحد أنواع الأمراض التدريجية التي تصيب شرايين الجسم وتجعلها أقل مرونة وأكثر ضيقًا، وهذا بدوره يؤدي إلى انخفاض تدفق الدم إلى الأنسجة والأعضاء وهو ما قد يتسبب في نوبة قلبية أو جلطات دموية أو سكتة دماغية. ولأن احتمالية الإصابة بتصلب الشرايين بعد سن الأربعين تصل إلى 50٪، فمن الأهمية بمكان أن تكون على دراية بطبيعة المرض وأعراضه ومخاطره وغيرها من الجوانب المرتبطة به.
