أعلنت شركة سمارت سيلز إنترناشونال من مجموعة فاميكورد للخلايا الجذعية، وهي شركة عالمية رائدة في مجال تخزين الخلايا الجذعية، عن افتتاح أول مختبر لها في الشرق الأوسط في مجمع دبي الطبية، بحضور ممثلين من هيئة صحة دبي ومدينة دبيالطبية،بحضور العالمة الإماراتية الدكتورة مريم مطر التي أسست جمعيتين أهليتين غير ربحيتين هما جمعية الإمارات لمتلازمة دوان وجمعية الإمارات للأمراض الجنية، والتي تحدثت عن أهمية العلاج بالخلايا الجذعية وتأثيره الإيجابي في صحة المجتمعات. كما شهد حفل الافتتاح حضور جمع كبير من المؤثرين على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي أبرزهم الإعلامية رؤى الصبان ومنذر المزكي.
