“Here is the World” — Ninth Edition of Sarah Yassin Royal Events Showcases Sudanese Excellence and Honours Distinguished Figures

The ninth edition of Sarah Yassin Royal Events, held under the theme “Here is the World,” marked an exceptional cultural and social gathering under the patronage of Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Mualla, with the attendance of Sheikh Humaid bin Abdullah Al Mualla, the special advisor to Sheikh Issa bin Abdullah, alongside dignitaries and heads of international delegations.

The event highlights Sudanese talent, creativity, and achievement on the global stage.

Among the honorees was Dr. Meinas Elmusharaf— a Sudanese-Canadian Family & Aesthetic doctor based in Dubai. Dr. Meinas is well- known in the GCC for her 10 years of experience, knowledge and patient results in the field of aesthetics. Inspired by art yet driven by science , Dr. Meinas has become a leader in her field and an international medical trainer and healthcare consultant for emerging clinics in the gulf region.

MBRF concludes 13thedition of ‘Bil Arabi’ initiative with huge turnout


Dubai, UAE, 31December 2025:The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) successfully concluded the 13th edition of ‘Bil Arabi’ initiative, which was held across nine major shopping malls throughout the UAE, along with parallel events in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Pakistan. The initiative featured a distinguished lineup of events,activities, and competitions that delivered modern insights and intellectual content, reinforcing the position of the Arabic language and underscoring its aesthetic beauty,along with its historical and cultural significance.

Hotpack announces alignment of production as UAE prepares to implement phase two of single use consumer plastic ban

Dubai, UAE – December29,2025: As the UAE moves toward implementing the second phase of its nationwide ban on single-use plastic products from January 1, 2026, local packaging manufacturers, including Hotpack, are aligning materials, production processes, and supply chains to meet the expanded regulatory requirements set by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE).

The upcoming phase broadens restrictions to cover a defined range of single-use consumer plastic items such as beverage cups and lids, cutlery, plates, straws, stirrers, and food containers made of Styrofoam. It also establishes a comprehensive ban on single-use bags below 50 microns, regardless of material, including paper. Products manufactured within the UAE using recycled content are among the exemptions, a provision aimed at supporting domestic recycling and local manufacturing capabilities.

Dubai International Program for Writing continues to advance knowledge landscape and foster creativity in 2025

Dubai, UAE,24 December 2025-The Dubai International Program for Writing (DIPW), a flagship initiative of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), expanded its intellectual presence and impact in 2025, both locally and globally. DIPW accomplished noteworthy milestones in 2025 that bolster its rich history, empower young talents, and nurture a new and inspiring generation of Arab writers and literary creators.

Launched in 2013, DIPW supports Emirati and Arab authors while driving intellectual and literary movements across the region and around the world. It operates in four key categories: creative writing, writer exchange, the ‘My Story’ competition, and translation, complemented byongoing knowledge initiatives, including ‘Knowledge Lounge’ and ‘My Family is Reading’.
