Amsaan partners with MOTIONGATE™ Dubai to pioneer a Deaf-accessible theme park experience

Dubai, UAE, 21February 2024: In aninnovative move, Amsaan, a pioneer in accessible IT solutions developed by Gulf People of Determination Information Technologies(GPDIT), has joined forces with MOTIONGATE™ Dubai,the flagship theme park of Dubai Parks and Resorts™ part of Dubai Holding Entertainment, to enhance the theme park experience for Deaf visitors. This partnership highlights a significant leap towards inclusivity in the entertainment industry, withAmsaan leading the charge in making theme park experiences accessible to everyone.

Traditional methods of communication, such as printed signs or verbal instructions, are challenging for the local Deaf community and can lead to misunderstandings. This initiative introduces on-demand Emirati sign language for ride descriptions, safety guidelines, and park instructions, allowing local Deaf visitors to easily access essential information by scanning strategically placed QR codes linked to Amsaan’s dedicated platform with Emirati sign language videos. Deaf visitors will be able to navigate MOTIONGATE™ Dubaiindependently and make informed decisions about attractions, enabling a more self-reliant, barrier-free, and enjoyable experience. This project is not static; based on feedback from the Deaf community and park visitors, there will be continuous enhancement of these Deaf-friendly features.

Dar Al Ber launches a Ramadan campaign targeting 160 Million to support those in need

Dar Al Ber Society launched a major Ramadan campaign to benefit tens of thousands of fasting and needy people in the Emirates and worldwide, aiming to collect revenue amounting to 160 Million Dirhams. This initiative is in implementation of the principles of our religion and the values of the Holy Month, and in response to state policy and the directives of the wise leadership in the charitable and humanitarian sector.

Dr. Mohammed Suhail Al Muhairi, CEO and Managing Director of Dar Al Ber Society, confirmed that the Ramadan campaign sets its sights on charitable goals and high-level humanitarian ambitions towards supporting the poor and those with limited income during the month of Ramadan, inside and outside the country. This includes many countries by providing them with food, living, and material requirements.

SKEA signs MoU with Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program of the UAE Cabinet

At the World Governments Summit 2024 in Dubai, UAE, under the theme of ‘Shaping Future Government’, the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) program, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program. His Excellency Ahmed Khalifa Al Qubaisi, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, signed the MoU on behalf of SKEA, whereas His Excellency Ibrahim Salman, General Coordinator of the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program, an affiliate to the UAE Cabinet, signed the document on behalf of his organization with the attendance of His Excellency Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications.
