Husin Bagis, on a formal visit yesterday (Monday, August 12) at the Foundation’s headquarters. The visit aimed to explore the activities of Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation as a pioneering example of UAE initiatives in supporting excellence in medical and educational fields.

During the meeting, a range of initiatives carried out by the Foundation were reviewed, highlighting its leading role in promoting innovation and quality in the medical and educational sectors, and its commitment to developing talents and competencies through specialized and world-class programs and activities.

GJEPC has helped raise funds for 14 NGOs over the last 8 years, positively impacting numerous lives

National, 12^th August 2024:  The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) proudly hosted the 9th edition of its esteemed charity dinner, ‘Jewellers for Hope,’ at a glittering event attended by industry leaders and philanthropists. Backed by Associate Partners – De Beers and World Gold Council; and powered by GIA; the ‘Jewellers for Hope’ charity event once again garnered overwhelming support from Jewellers, Diamond Exporters, retailers, and global associations.  Since its inception in 2014, Jewellers for Hope has contributed crores of rupees to 14 NGOs, leaving a lasting impact on countless lives.

The proceeds of the charity dinner were donated to two NGOs – MIAM, Miam Charitable Trust is committed to the social upliftment of tribal, rural, and urban populations across India; and the Gem & Jewellery National Relief Foundation (GJNRF) to coordinate social interventions, particularly during major crises.

Registration is now open for the 29th International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2024” (OGT 2024), which will be held in Ashgabat from October 23-25, 2024. The event is organized by the State Concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit” and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.More than 100 delegates from 20 countries have already registered to participate in OGT 2024.

The purpose of the conference is to strengthen regional dialogue on the further sustainable development of the energy sector and to expand opportunities for attracting direct foreign investment into Turkmenistan’s oil and gas industry.
