“نِعمة” تتعاون مع مهرجان ” تيست أوف أبوظبي 2024″ لتحويله إلى فعالية بلا نفايات غذائية

المبادرة الوطنية للحد من فقد وهدر الغذاء شريكًا رسميًا للمهرجان

أبوظبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة, 11 نوفمبر 2024: أعلنت المبادرة الوطنية للحد من فقد وهدر الغذاء “نِعمة” عن شراكتها مع مهرجان “تيست أوف أبوظبي 2024″، في خطوة تهدف إلى تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي حول أهمية مكافحة هدر الغذاء والمشاركة في تفعيل حلول مستدامة. يُتوقع أن يستقطب هذا العام نحو 17 ألف زائر. وتتولى “نِعمة” دور “الشريك الرسمي للحد من هدر الغذاء” خلال المهرجان الذي سيُعقد من 15 إلى 17 نوفمبر في بوابة ياس الجنوبية بجزيرة ياس. ومن خلال هذه الشراكة، ستُقدّم “نِعمة” للحضور حلولًا عملية ونماذج ناجحة للحفاظ على الغذاء، يمكن تطبيقها بسهولة في الحياة اليومية. كما ستعمل المبادرة بالتعاون مع الطهاة والمطاعم المشاركين في المهرجان طوال أيام المهرجان الثلاثة على تبني ممارسات فعالة للحد من هدر الغذاء، مع تقديم توعية وتثقيف مستمر للزوار حول كيفية حدوث الهدر.

Dubai Cares and ALEC have joined forces to uplift an underprivileged community in Nepal by fully sponsoring operations of a 90-student co-ed primary school in the country’s Western region

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – November 11, 2024 – After successfully supporting Dubai Cares’ initiative to revamp the classroom and playground facilities at the National Charity School for Girls and Boys in Ajman last year, ALEC Engineering and Contracting (ALEC) today extended its partnership with the UAE-based global philanthropic organisation. By signing a new three-year agreement for Dubai Cares’ ‘Volunteer Emirates’ initiative, ALEC commits an additional AED 600,000 towards enhancing the learning environment at 3 UAE-based non-profit schools by 2026, bringing its total contribution to AED 800,000 and a total of four schools in the UAE.

Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre sign MoU to collaborate on Environmental Data and Geospatial Mapping

Dubai, 10 November 2024: The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC), to collaborate on environmental data and geospatial mapping. This partnership aims to strengthen the Ministry’s efforts in advancing environmental and climate sustainability in the UAE by leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance decision-making processes and support the state’s progress toward its national agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals for 2030. Additionally, It will also improve the Ministry’s operational efficiency to further support the development of environmental policies and programmes in the UAE.

Kanaf Higher Committee plans to strengthen child safety campaigns and boost institutional integration

The Higher Committee of Kanaf Centre, the first-of-its-kind child protection centre in the UAE and the region, convened to review achievements and assess efforts to protect child victims of abuse and offer optimal support to them and their families. They also explored ways to enhance child safety awareness campaigns and develop communication and coordination between partner entities.
