Dubai, May 2024 – BITS Pilani Dubai Campus (BPDC) proudly hosted a series of impactful events this May, attracting thousands of students and community members. The campus buzzed with activity and learning as it presented Jashn 2024, Spectrum 2024, and BITS Tech Fest 2024.

These events collectively contributed to the personal and professional growth of participants and provided the platform for the BPDC students to demonstrate their skills in planning, organizing and executing events from start to finish.

BPDC’s commitment to fostering educational excellence, cultural appreciation, and technological innovation in the community was clearly evident through these annual events held on its campus at the Dubai International Academic City.

Alumna, Moaza Al Marri, delivers keynote address at AUD graduation ceremony

His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum awards graduates at 27th commencement

May 22,2024 : Dubai, UAE: American University in Dubai (AUD) has honored the achievements of the Class of 2024 at its 27th graduation ceremony staged at Sheikh Rashid Hall, Dubai World Trade Centre.

The commencement was held in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council.

Inspiring this year’s graduates with the keynote address was Ms. Moaza Saeed Al Marri, Executive Director of the Director General’s Office at the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority, and graduate of the university’s Bachelor in Fashion Design & Marketing, and Master of Business Administration programs. The commencement was held in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council.

Moaza Saeed Al Marri, Executive Director of the Director General’s Office at the Dubai RTA and an alumna of AUD, was the keynote speaker at the graduation ceremony.

Held at Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, the ceremony witnessed the honoring of Ahmed bin Saeed as the Personality of the Year 2024 in recognition of his role in supporting education through his leadership of the Emirates Airline Foundation

Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, Dubai, UAE, 21May2024:Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Supreme Chairman of Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences, honored 62 winners of this year’s educational awards from a total of 459 participants at a ceremony held today (Tuesday, May 21) at Theater Hall, Mohammed Bin Rashid Library in Dubai.

The ceremony also witnessed the honoring of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group. The Foundation’s Board of Trustees selected His Highness as the as the ‘Personality of the Year 2024’ in recognition of his role in supporting education and improving the lives of thousands of people in need across many regions of the world through his leadership of the Emirates Airline Foundation. This has strengthened the UAE’s presence on the global charitable and humanitarian map. His Highness has also supported numerous community organizations that assist government efforts in caring for children, students, and people of determination.

Canadian University Dubai students win AED 10K investment for public health innovation

Young entrepreneurs showcase creative solutions to social challenges

Release date, Dubai, UAE: A team of students from Canadian University Dubai (CUD) has won AED 10,000 in the form of an incubation grant for an innovation that aims to protect public toilet users from harmful bacteria. The award was sponsored by Bin Owais Holdings and presented to the winning team as part of the university’s annual flagship ‘CUD Innovation Showcase’ initiative.

The event served as a platform for students to demonstrate their ground-breaking ideas, engage in insightful discussions, and network with industry leaders. With a focus on fostering creativity, entrepreneurship, and collaboration, the CUD Innovation Showcase aimed to inspire and empower the next generation of innovators.
