Canadian University Dubai (CUD) graduate, Issam Kassabieh, has always challenged the norms of the traditional career path. Initially enrolled in a bachelor’s program in civil engineering at Waterloo University, Kassabieh made a decisive move, transferring from Canada to Dubai to pursue his passion for finance, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance at CUD.

Less than a decade since his graduation, Kassabieh has leveraged his unique skillset, blending his passion for communication with his technical financial expertise, to continuously reinvent himself within the region’s dynamic investment ecosystem .From large public organizations to innovative start-ups across a diverse subset of industries, Kassabieh’s work has led to his current role as Account Director Investor Relations at the global financial communications boutique, Edelman Smithfield. There, he is on a mission to demystify investment narratives across the region.
