Abu Dhabi, UAE, September 27, 2024: Thirty-seven senior leaders from UAE organizations have graduated from the fifth cohort of Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence’s (MBZUAI) Executive Program (MEP). Over the course of 16 weeks, the participants were guided by world-leading AI experts, exploring the transformative potential of AI in addressing societal challenges and driving sustainability across industries.

From Canadian University Dubai students to key industry leaders: Emirati brothers excel in strategic HR roles

September 26,2024 : Dubai, UAE: Emirati brothers and Canadian University Dubai (CUD) graduates, Ali Sharif Al Marzooqi and Omar Sharif Al Marzooqi, both started their careers as junior executives in human resources. With a passion for the industry and growing professional expertise, they also recognized the importance of earning a formal qualification in the field.

Taking different routes to join the same degree program, Ali and Omar returned to education as mature students, enrolling in CUD’s Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management in the same year. As mid-career graduates they are now at the top of their profession in strategic roles with leading UAE organizations.

Dubai-based Toastmasters District 127 emerges No.1 globally

  • Based in the UAE, the Toastmasters District 127 runs 155 clubs across Dubai, the Northern Emirates, and Lebanon.

DUBAI – September 18, 2024: Toastmasters International, the world’s largest non-for-profit organization for public speaking and leadership development, has recently announced that its UAE-based District 127, which represents Dubai, the Northern Emirates, and Lebanon, as the No. 1 district globally. The announcement has been made during Toastmasters International’s 100th-anniversary convention, recently held in California. 

Adding to the district’s accolades, Dubai-based entrepreneur and academician Toastmaster DTM Sujit Sukumaran has been elected to the Toastmasters International Board of Directors for the 2024–2026 term. He is a seasoned Toastmaster with nearly 20 years in the fraternity.
