UAE Rhodes Scholarship Announces 2025 Rhodes Scholars Bound for Oxford

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – 25 November 2025 | Two exceptional students have been selected as the recipients of the 2025 UAE Rhodes Scholarship, securing their places for postgraduate studies at the prestigious University of Oxford in 2026. Both recipients will join a global cohort of changemakers at the University of Oxford in October 2026, where they will pursue postgraduate degrees aligned with their aspirations to create meaningful impact in their respective fields.

This year’s winners are Amal Musa Ali Alrebh, a 22-year-old Emirati who is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at Khalifa University and Fatima Mohammed Abdulla AlNuaimi, a 24-year-old Emirati studying English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. They were chosen from a competitive pool, by the UAE Rhodes Scholarship Selection Committee. They demonstrated the Scholarship’s cornerstone criteria; exceptional intellect, leadership, moral character, and a dedication to service, values that directly align with the strategic goals of the National Youth Agenda 2031 to maximise Emirati youth contribution across all key sectors.

يوريكا! مجموعة بيس تُحدث ثورة علمية بتحقيق رقمها القياسي التاسع في موسوعة غينيس™ لأكبر عدد من الأشخاص الذين أجروا تجارب علمية في وقت واحد بمشاركة 5035 طالبًا وأولياء أمور ومنتسبين من 25 جنسية.

الشارقة، الإمارات العربية المتحدة – 25 نوفمبر 2025

برؤية ملهمة من الراحل الدكتور بي. أيه. إبراهيم حاجي، تؤمن مجموعة بيس بأن التعليم يتجاوز حدود الكتب المدرسية؛ فهو رحلة لاكتشاف الفضول، وإشعال الخيال، وتحويل المعرفة إلى تطبيق حي. وفي انسجام مع رؤية دولة الإمارات لبناء مجتمع معرفي مبتكر ومستدام، وبالتزامن مع “عام الأسرة 2026″، تحوّل5035 مشاركًا من 25 جنسية إلى مختبر حي ضخم فوق أرض ملعب كرة القدم، احتفاءً بالعلم والتعلم والإبداع.

مع دق الجرس، ازدانت الساحة بألوان التجارب العلمية، لتتحول إلى مختبر حي ينبض بالحياة، حيث تشتعل شرارة الفضول، ويتحوّل الخيال إلى تجربة، وتظهر المعرفة في صورة تطبيقات ممتعة يشترك فيها الآلاف. وقد شاركت العائلات والطلاب والمعلمون في سلسلة تجارب علمية في مجالات الكيمياء والفيزياء والأحياء وعلوم البيئة.

انبثقت الفكرة الجريئة لهذا الحدث من الأستاذة شِفانا معز (نائب المدير) والأستاذة صفا آزاد (مساعد المدير)، بدعم وتوجيه من السادة المديرين: أسيف محمد، لطيف إبراهيم، شافي إبراهيم، عبدالله إبراهيم، أمين إبراهيم، سلمان إبراهيم، زبير إبراهيم، بلال إبراهيم، وعادل إبراهيم. وقد أسهمت قيادتهم في تحويل شرارة الفضول إلى انفجار علمي من الحماس والاكتشاف.

Guided by the visionary dreams of the late Dr. P.A. Ibrahim Haji, PACE Group has always believed that education is more than textbooks—it is the discovery of curiosity, the spark of imagination, and knowledge coming into action. Today, in alignment with the UAE’s vision for a knowledge-based, innovative, and sustainable society, and inspired by the Year of the Family 2026, over 6,000 participants transformed a football field into the UAE’s largest Live Lab of Discovery, celebrating science, learning, and imagination.

At the ring of the bell, the entire ground came alive, turning into a Live Lab of Discovery where curiosity sparks imagination, knowledge transforms into action, and the joy of experimentation was visible, heard, and shared by thousands. Families, students, and educators became part of a living experiment, exploring chemistry, physics, biology, and environmental science together.

This bold vision was conceptualized by Ms. Shifana Muizz, Vice Principal, and Ms. Safa Azad, Assistant Director, and brought to life with the support and guidance of Directors Mr. Aseef Mohammed, Mr. Latheef Ibrahim, Mr. Shafi Ibrahim, Mr. Abdullah Ibrahim, Mr. Ameen Ibrahim, Mr. Salman Ibrahim,Mr. Zubair Ibrahim, Mr. Bilal Ibrahim, and Mr. Adil Ibrahim. Their leadership ensured that the spark of curiosity ignited a scientific explosion of discovery and enthusiasm.

Canadian University Dubai students unveil Dome of Inclusion during Dubai Design Week

Collaboration with Dubai Holding Entertainment and ImInclusive to champion equality

November 19,2025 : Dubai, UAE: For the second consecutive year, Canadian University Dubai (CUD) has joined forces with Dubai Holding Entertainment (DHE) and ImInclusive to champion equality and accessibility through the power of design. The collaborative installation, known as the Dome of Inclusion, was officially presented at Dubai Design Week, where Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, visited the installation as part of the event’s opening ceremony.

Developed as a space where creativity, design, and accessibility converge, the Dome of Inclusion is composed of interlocking hexagons and pentagons that symbolize unity through diversity. The hexagons represent six guiding principles of collaboration, creativity, inclusion, empowerment, innovation, and unity, reflecting the shared vision of the partners to embed these values into every aspect of the project. The pentagons signify the five key areas of disability considered in the design: physical, sensory, neurodiversity, intellectual, and psychosocial.
