BITS Pilani Dubai Campus Concludes Young Entrepreneurs’ Bootcamp 2025, Training School Students in Structured Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Dubai, UAE: The 11th edition of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Bootcamp (YEB) 2025, organised by BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus, concluded after five days of intensive academic engagement, offering high school students a rigorous introduction to startup thinking grounded in structured analysis, technology, and industry-aligned problem solving.

Designed for students from Grades 9 to 12, YEB 2025 moved beyond introductory exposure by adopting a framework-based approach that guided participants through the complete venture creation journey. Students progressed from identifying pressing challenges to developing validated business models, understanding revenue mechanisms, assessing financial feasibility, and delivering investor-style pitches with clarity and confidence.

UniHawk mentee champions financial literacy for underprivileged women in India

Dubai student empowers economic independence through education and enterprise

December 23,2025: Dubai, UAE: Dubai student, Yug Sancheti, has taken his passion for finance and entrepreneurship beyond the classroom to help young women in India gain the skills they need to achieve economic independence and stability. A mentee of university guidance experts UniHawk, Yug, joined forces with the social impact platform, Tribes for Good, to support underprivileged women in developing their financial literacy through education and entrepreneurship.

Yug credits UniHawk for helping him find direction and purpose through mentorship and exposure to meaningful community initiatives

At just 15 years old,the Grade 11 GEMS Modern Academy student demonstrated that age is no barrier to making a real-world impactwhen he set out to develop and deliver a six-week financial literacy program for women aged 16 to 25. The program aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge of saving, investing, and managing funds to help them build sustainable livelihoods through budgeting and financial goal setting.Over 40 participants benefited from the program, delivered to women in need in collaboration with community organisations such as the Calcutta Foundation.

Yug has used his passion for finance and entrepreneurship to help young women in India gain the skills they need to achieve economic independence and stability

Canadian University Dubai Expands Global Pathways Through Strategic Agreements with the University of Ottawa

New Canadian academic routes for CUD students in engineering, applied science and technology, and health sciences to complete their degrees in Canada

Canadian University Dubai (CUD) has announced a new expansion in its global academic network through the signing of two landmark agreements with the University of Ottawa (uOttawa), one of Canada’s top research-intensive institutions. The Memoranda of Understanding mark a significant milestone in CUD’s internationalisation strategy, offering students enhanced mobility, access to world-class academic environments, and transformative experiences that bridge Dubai and Canada.

Canadian University Dubai has signed two landmark agreements with the University of Ottawa (uOttawa), one of Canada’s top research-intensive institutions 

At the core of the partnership are two new academic routes that create seamless progression pathways to globally recognised Canadian qualifications, set in one of North America’s most dynamic, innovation-driven academic ecosystems. Through the 1+3 Collaborative Student Transfer Program, eligible students in the School of Engineering, Applied Science and Technology can complete the first year of their studies at CUD before transferring to uOttawa to complete the remaining three years of their chosen degree at uOttawa. Meanwhile, the 2+2 Dual-Degree Program in the School of Health Sciences & Psychology enables Public Health students to complete two years at CUD, followed by two years at uOttawa, and to graduate with a dual degree from both institutions.
