Hitachi Energy is ahead of schedule with its purpose-driven growth plan

Hitachi announced acquisition of remaining shares from ABB ahead of schedule further supporting Hitachi Energy’s 2030 Plan

Dubai: September 30, 2022 – Hitachi Energy Ltd (“Hitachi Energy”) today announced that Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501, “Hitachi”) has signed a share transfer agreement for the remaining 19.9% shares from ABB Ltd (SIX: ABBBN, “ABB”), pursuant to the acquisition agreement signed on December 17, 2018(1). This is in line with the plan and ahead of schedule, and the transfer of shares will be completed by end of December 2022, subject to regulatory approvals.

VISTARA INAUGURATES NON-STOP SERVICE BETWEEN MUMBAI AND ABU DHABI

Delhi, 01 October 2022: Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier and a joint venture of Tata group and Singapore Airlines, today inaugurates non-stop, daily flights between Mumbai (India) and Abu Dhabi (UAE). The inaugural flight will depart from Mumbai at 1910 Hours (IST) and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 2040 Hours (GST), making Vistara the first-ever carrier to offer the choice of Premium Economy class on the route, in addition to Business and Economy class.
