Themed around three core pillars – Cosmos Organisers, Writers in the Spotlight, and Behind the Scenes – SPL’s programme invites participants into the heart of literary exploration, uncovering the beauty of storytelling and celebrating authors’ contributions.

The ongoing 43rd Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) championed sustainability and education with a hands-on workshop on Monday designed to educate young participants on the benefits of eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning solutions.

The interactive session, titled “Cleaning with Natural Ingredients”, offered schoolgoers a unique opportunity to make their own environmentally conscious cleaning products from simple, natural ingredients.

The launch drew a distinguished gathering, with H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economy of the United Arab Emirates, and many other distinguished guests.

His Excellency Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economy of the United Arab Emirates & Joy Alukkas with prominent figures, including: His Excellency Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul General of India, Dubai; His Excellency Robert Raines, Consul General of the United States, Dubai; His Excellency Eng. Marwan Bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Land Department; Mr. Tawhid Abdullah, Chairman of Dubai Jewellery Group; and Mr. Adnan Anwar, CEO of National Bank of Fujairah (NBF) at the unveiling of the Arabic edition of Joy Alukkas’ autobiography ‘Spreading Joy’.
