Dubai, United Arab Emirates – November 2025: A new chapter in the UAE’s technological future begins today with the official opening of the AI Centre of Excellence, a first-of-its-kind national initiative founded by Lakeba Group, DoxAI, AqlanX, and the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD).

Located at UOWD’s campus in Dubai Knowledge Park – the region’s leading hub for lifelong learning and part of TECOM Group PJSC, the Centre is designed to become the engine room of the UAE’s sovereign AI strategy, combining advanced research, innovation, and commercialization under one roof. Its mission: to build, deploy, and export sovereign AI technologies created in the Emirates — for the Emirates — and for the world.

Abu Dhabi, November 18, 2025: The 2025 Abu Dhabi T10 roared to life at the Zayed Cricket Stadium as the Quetta Qavalry announced their arrival in style, powering to a commanding 51-run win over the Northern Warriors.

In the first innings, a blockbuster knock from Khawaja Nafay (45* off 12) led the Quetta Qavalry to a formidable total of 133/5. Nafay plundered five sixes and two fours, supported by quick-fire knocks from Liam Livingstone (24 off 10) and an unbeaten Jason Holder (24* off 10). Earlier in the innings, Muhammad Waseem (15 off 10) had also looked in fine form, but the UAE batter perished at the halfway mark.
