Leading the Next Generation Smartphone Imaging: HUAWEI Pura 80 Series Pre-orders kicks off in UAE

Huawei’s photography-focused Pura Series has unveiled the latest smartphone in the region at its Dubai launch event. The HUAWEI Pura 80 Series, as it’s called, brings a new glaze texture design and exceptional camera capabilities. The combination of a 1-inch Ultra Large Sensor of the main camera and the variable F1.6-F4.0 aperture lends the Pura 80 Ultra phenomenal low-light performance. But the biggest leap comes with the Switchable Dual Telephoto camera, which brings a first-of-its-kind dual telephoto camera system that shares a sensor that’s as good as standard main cameras. For photography enthusiasts, this means taking surprisingly good pictures of faraway subjects.

HUAWEI Pura 80 Series will be available for pre-order from 23rd July at a price starting from 3,999 AED through Huawei’s official website. The pre-order will allow buyers to benefit from free add-ons including HUAWEI Care+ and HUAWEI Watch GT 5 among other gifts worth 1,948 AED.

The Switchable Dual Telephoto camera on the Pura 80 Ultra consists of two telephoto lenses; a 3.7x medium telephoto and a 9.4x super telephoto. Instead of using two separate sensors, these two lenses share a single sensor. This design makes it possible to fit a large sensor in place of two smaller ones, leading to a monumental leap in telephoto image quality, especially in low light.
