Dubai Land Department and REACH announce landmark partnership to drive real estate innovation in Dubai and the Middle East

Dubai, UAE, 09 March 2025: Dubai Land Department (DLD) and REACH, a globally recognised real estate technology accelerator backed by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), have signed a landmark partnership to launch REACH Middle East. The pioneering initiative aims to attract emerging proptech companies to Dubai and the region while driving innovation in the real estate sector.

This partnership comes as Dubai Land Department gears up to host PropTech Connect 2026, the world’s premier real estate technology conference and exhibition. The first-of-its-kind event will unite top industry leaders, investors, and proptech innovators from across the globe to explore cutting-edge digital solutions, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and data analytics that are reshaping the future of the real estate sector worldwide.

Special Olympics UAE Athlete Mina Al Mazrouei Raises the Special Olympics Flag at Opening ceremony of Turin 2025 Games

Abu Dhabi, UAE – 9 March 2025: Mina Al Mazrouei, a Special Olympics UAE athlete, raised the Special Olympics flag during the opening ceremony of the Special Olympics World Winter Games – Turin 2025, which kicked off yesterday evening in Italy.

This participation serves as a reaffirmation of the significant progress made by Special Olympics UAE in using sports to integrate people of determination into society.

Furthermore, the selection of an athlete from Special Olympics UAE, from among 1,500 athletes and unified partners from 102 countries, highlights the international recognition of the UAE’s unwavering support for people of determination and its continuous efforts to provide them with opportunities for active participation in global sports events.

His Excellency Talal Al Hashemi, National Director of Special Olympics UAE and Head of the UAE Delegation to Turin 2025, said: “Since the Abu Dhabi 2019 Games, we have witnessed a new era of empowerment and excellence for people of determination in the field of sports. We have focused on investing in the strategy of supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental challenges, as adopted by our leadership. Today, we are all proud as we see our athlete Mina Al Mazrouei representing her country in the best possible way. This achievement reflects the hard work and specialist training programs that the athletes have benefited from.”

  • This year’s Majlis was organised by Shurooq, Invest in Sharjah, Sheraa, and SRTIP and held in Mleiha.
  • Invest in Sharjah and SRTI Park sign MoU and launch ‘Innovate in Sharjah’ platform to support innovation.
  • Sheraa and Emarat sign MoU to support startups, investment, and entrepreneurship.
  • An MoU was also penned between Invest in Sharjah and Alef Group highlighting opportunities in the emirate’s expanding freehold property market.
