Union Coop organized the “Barakatna” event to recognize and celebrate the contributions of senior citizens to society.

The event, held at the Senior Citizens Happiness Center under the Dubai Health Authority, was attended by Dr. Suhail Al Bastaki, Chief Community Relations Officer at Union Coop; Mr. Khalid Jamal Al Bayati, Head of the Shareholders and Call Center Unit; Dr. Salwa Al Suwaidi, Director of the Senior Citizens Happiness Center; and Mr. Abdullah Al Falasi, Head of the Administrative Affairs Department at the center. Staff from both organizations also participated to support the event.

The company aims to contribute to achieving the UAE’s strategic target of producing 700 million liters of SAF annually by 2030, with a voluntary goal of providing 1% of sustainable fuel to national airlines at the country’s airports using locally produced fuel by 2031.
