Abu Dhabi, UAE, 17 December 2024: Space42 (ADX: SPACE42), the UAE-based AI-powered SpaceTech company with global reach, announced that it has signed an AED 18.7 billion (USD 5.1 billion) contract with the UAE Government to provide critical, secure communication services for a further 17 years beyond 2026 until 2043.

Keeta Drone obtains commercial license from Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, marks milestone with successful food and medical delivery service launch in Dubai

Dubai, UAE, December 17, 2024: Keeta Drone, a subsidiary of Chinese technology and retail company Meituan, today announced that it has received the UAE’s first commercial license for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) drone deliveries from Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA). This milestone positions Keeta Drone as the first Chinese drone logistics operator to secure an overseas license, marking a significant leap in its global expansion.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), today launched the Keeta Drone delivery service, the first-of-its-kind in the Middle East, at Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO).
