أبوظبي – الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 14 أكتوبر 2024: أعلن فريق الإمارات القابضة (ADQ) عن توقيع عقد لثلاثة أعوام مع نجمة الدراجات الإيطالية إليسا لونجو بورغيني، بطلة سباق طواف إيطاليا “جيرو ديتاليا” للسيدات مرتين وبطلة إيطاليا الوطنية لسباق الطرق لخمس مرات. تأتي هذه الإضافة المهمة للفريق في إطار استعداداته لبدء موسم 2025 بتشكيله قوية، خاصة أنه وقع أيضًا عقدًا لعامين مع اللاعبة برودي تشابمان، أول دراجة أسترالية تنضم للفريق.
تحمل إليسا لونجو بورغيني لفريق الإمارات القابضة (ADQ) خبرة عالمية ثرية من المشاركة في سباق طواف الدراجات للسيدات، كما تضيف مسيرتها المتميزة منذ احترافها ركوب الدراجات في عام 2011 لمسيرة فريق السيدات المحترف في الدولة. حيث تمتلك لونجو بورغيني رصيدًا كبيرًا من الانتصارات في سباقات مرموقة مثل جيرو ديتاليا للسيدات، وطواف فلاندرز، وستراد بيانكي، وباريس روبيكس للسيدات. وكانت إليسا قد شاركت مؤخرًا في بطولة العالم للدراجات الهوائية على الطرق في زيوريخ وعادت منها بميداليتين برونزيتين، وتستعد الآن لسباقات مهمة، مثل جيرو ديتاليا للسيدات وسباق طواف فرنسا للسيدات في عام 2025.
