There are probably more than three things you should know, but let’s start with these three and go from there, shall we? 

First, it’s important to note that AI is real. Yes, it’s over-hyped. Yes, entire portfolios are being “AI-washed” in the same way everything suddenly became a “cloud” product over a decade ago. But it’s real according to the folks who know, which is to say decision makers in our 2024 State of AI Application Strategy research.

While most organizations (69%) are conducting research on technology and use cases, 43% say they have implemented AI at scale. That’s either generative or predictive.

August 7, 2024: The UAE’s Nargish Khambatta, Principal and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GEMS Modern Academy, has been named among the ten Finalists of the inaugural Asia Education Medal. Founded this year by T4 Education and HP, the new award will be given to an outstanding individual who has demonstrated impact, leadership and advocacy in the field of education.

AUS partners with Nama to establish “HH Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi Chair in Women’s Leadership”

Sharjah, 06 August 2024

American University of Sharjah (AUS) announced its partnership with NAMA Women Advancement Establishment (NAMA) to launch “Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi Chair in Women’s Leadership.” Funded by Nama, the AED 15 million grant is the first-ever endowed chair focused on women’s leadership and development in the United Arab Emirates.

The multidisciplinary chair is named in honor of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of NAMA, recognizing her significant efforts and contributions to the advancement of women’s education.
