DWTC kicks off summer season with diverse business and community events

• Trade show highlights this month include INDEX, the Hotel Show, China Home Life and the International Appliance and Electronics Show
• Much-anticipated community events Dubai Sports World and Modesh World set to make their return for the summer

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 31 May 2024: Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) is gearing up for an exciting month in June, with a lineup of diverse events set to attract exhibitors and visitors from around the world and across the city. The calendar is packed with high-profile exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows, promising a dynamic atmosphere for networking, innovation, and opportunities for local, regional and international businesses as well as some of the city’s most anticipated community events running throughout the summer months.

INDEX Interior Design and Furniture Exhibition: 4 – 6 June

For more than 30 years, INDEX has been the leading gateway into the MENA interior design and fit-out market. The event showcases everything related to transforming spaces – from unique products and stylish designs to intelligent technology. The event features more than 400 exhibitors, including global manufacturers, leading brands, and top local suppliers, covering a wide range of product specialisms. Running alongside the trade show, the 2024 conference will feature over 110 speakers who are experts within the interior design sector, highlighting the event’s role in fostering collaboration and innovation in the industry.

The Hotel Show: 4 – 6 June

The Hotel Show has been the top gathering for the MENA hospitality industry for the last two decades. The event serves as a platform for exploring the latest trends and solutions across the region’s growing hospitality sector. It attracts owners, general managers, developers, and industry professionals, offering workshops, demonstrations, and a diverse lineup of conferences. This year’s edition features 125 speakers across key forums including leadership, F&B, technology, and housekeeping.

World Vape Show: 12 – 14 June

In 2024, Dubai will host the largest B2B vape event worldwide, offering an exclusive opportunity for the global vape community to gather, network, and conduct business. The exhibition will showcase cutting-edge innovations and trends in the vaping and e-cigarette sector, spanning products, technologies, and services. The event will include a comprehensive conference featuring seminars, talks, and discussions on industry trends, regulations, product development, and marketing strategies.

International Appliance and Electronics Show: 12 – 14 June

The International Appliance and Electronics Show (AES) is a global platform connecting technology enthusiasts worldwide. The event showcases 20+ years of experience and the latest innovations in home electronics, kitchen appliances, personal beauty gadgets, audio systems, automotive tech, outdoor equipment, and power solutions, offering a comprehensive look into cutting-edge developments that influence contemporary lifestyles.

China Home Life: 12 – 15 June

China Home Life Dubai, marking its 15^th edition, is the largest trade expo for Chinese manufacturers in Dubai. Over three days, it connects buyers and suppliers across multiple sectors, offering access to over 3,000 verified Chinese manufacturers. The event showcases around 100,000 products, including building materials, textiles, electronics, furniture, and machinery. It emphasises convenience with free translation services and facilitates major business deals through VIP meetings.

Modesh World 2024: 21 June – 18 August

Since its launch in 2000, Modesh World has been keeping kids and families entertained over the summer months with everything from rides and games to daily shows and educational workshops. This year is no exception. Join the city’s beloved, sunny-faced character Modesh and his friend Dana for summer fun and engaging activities for all ages, at DWTC from 21 June.

Dubai Sports World: 22 June – 8 September

Dubai Sports World is Dubai’s largest indoor summer sports destination with 11 sports – including football, cricket, basketball, badminton, padel, pickleball and more – across 40+ courts and pitches. The 14^th and largest edition of Dubai Sports World will be held in Za’abeel Halls 2 – 6 and covers a huge area of more than 26,500 square metres. Stay active this summer with a jam-packed calendar of fitness activities for all ages and abilities including kids’ active fun zones, sports academies, thrilling challenges, free gym access, fitness classes, and a whole lot more.
