PAM Honors H.E. Amb. Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani for Continuous Humanitarian Efforts through DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 17 May 2024: The Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) honored His Excellency Amb. Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Roving Ambassador for the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean for the GCC, Chairman of DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation, and Chairman of (DISAB), marking twenty years of fruitful collaboration between DIHAD and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM). This recognition was bestowed during The Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean 18th Plenary Session, held in Braga, Portugal, in appreciation of Ambassador AlMadani’s significant role over the years in advancing humanitarian work under the wise leadership directives of the UAE and its pivotal role in humanitarian efforts in the region and all over the globe.
His Excellency Amb. Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Roving Ambassador for the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean for the GCC, Chairman of DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation, and Chairman of (DISAB), said: “We are proud of this recognition from the esteemed Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, an institution dedicated to promoting global peace. We cherish this honor as it supports our work at the DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation, which aims to highlight humanitarian issues and enhance cooperation to build a better future. We have achieved significant milestones on the 20th anniversary of the DIHAD Conference and Exhibition, which is an annual event held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. We will continue to achieve successes and accomplishments because we believe that humanitarian work is the only way for humanity to remain safe and continuously develop.”

DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation
The DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Organisation continues its nearly two-decade journey in serving humanity and peace. In partnership with many organizations and institutions, it has launched initiatives with a value exceeding 705 million euros, reaching more than 197 countries worldwide. The organization continues to build bridges of hope and support and assist many communities lacking care and support worldwide. Year after year, DIHAD’s contributions to sustainable humanitarian work accumulate, resulting in a rich history of initiatives that have significantly served humanity.
Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) is an international organization established in 2005 by the national parliaments of the countries of the Euro-Mediterranean region. It is the legal successor of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in the Mediterranean (CSCM), launched in the early ‘90s. The primary objective of PAM is to forge political, economic, and social cooperation among the Member States to find standard solutions to the challenges facing the Euro-Mediterranean and Gulf region and to create a space for peace and prosperity for its peoples.
