Trakhees” runs more than 22,000 Inspections reporting 450 violations during 2023

During 2023, the Department of Planning and Development – Trakhees, the regulatory body of the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation, ramped up its inspection efforts in retail facilities across its designated development zones. These efforts involved over 22,249 inspection tours, leading to the issuance of 450 violations across different sectors.

Baseball United Expands Reach of its Middle East Franchises

The league’s two UAE Franchises will now be called the Arabia Wolves and Mid East Falcons

DUBAI, UAE (March 26, 2024) – Baseball United, the first professional baseball league focused on the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent, announced today the evolution and expansion of its two UAE-based franchises based on the growing demand for professional baseball in the region. The Dubai Wolves will now be called the Arabia Wolves, and the Abu Dhabi Falcons have been renamed the Mid East Falcons.

Themed “Ajman…embracing history and identity”

Ajman, United Arab Emirates – 27 March 2024: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, and Chairman of Ajman Executive Council, the inaugural Ajman Folklore Festival, themed “Ajman…embracing history and identity,” is set to be launched on April 19 to 21. The event is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Culture, the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, the Rewaq Ousha Bint Hussein Cultural Center, and the MTG Events Organizing Company, aimed at enhancing heritage and cultural awareness within the Emirate of Ajman.
