25th Gulf Engineering Forum Caps Off as a Resounding Success

Dubai, UAE, February 8, 2024: The 25th Gulf Engineering Forum (GEF), held under the patronage of Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Supreme President of the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences, concluded its two-day proceedings with great success on February 8, 2024, at the at the prestigious Al Ras Ballroom, InterContinental Dubai Festival City.

Organized by the UAE Society of Engineers in collaboration with the Gulf Engineering Union, under the overarching theme, “Smart Engineering for a Sustainable Future,” the forum successfully brought together 800+ industry leaders, decision-makers, academics, researchers, and experts in engineering from across the Gulf region.

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة،7فبراير 2024: افتتحت”دوبات”مصنعاً متكاملاً لإعادة تدوير البطارياتيعدّ الأول من نوعه في دولة الإمارات في مدينة دبي الصناعية التابعة لمجموعة تيكوم.وحضر حفل الافتتاح الرسمي كلٌّ من معالي عبدالله بن طوق المري عضو مجلس الوزراء وزير الاقتصاد، ومعالي الدكتورة آمنة بنت عبدالله الضحاك عضو مجلس الوزراء وزيرة التغير المناخي والبيئة، ومعالي مريم حارب المهيري رئيس مكتب الشؤون الدولية في ديوان الرئاسة، وسعادة عمر السويدي وكيل وزارة الصناعة والتكنولوجيا المتقدمة.

كما شارك في حفل الافتتاح كلّ من سعادة المهندس داوود عبدالرحمن الهاجري مدير عام بلدية دبي، ومحمد شاعل المدير التنفيذي لمؤسسة دبي لحماية المستهلك والتجارة العادلة (دائرة الاقتصاد والسياحة بدبي)، ومحمد شرف المدير التنفيذي للعمليات-جذب الاستثمار (دائرة الاقتصاد والسياحة بدبي)، والدكتور محمد يوسف علي الحائز على وسام “بادما شري” رئيس مجلس الإدارة والعضو المنتدب لمجموعة اللولو الدولية، وشري بي كيه كونشاليكوتيعضو الجمعية التشريعية ووزير الصناعة السابق في حكومة ولاية كيرالا.
