Dubai, 29 January 2024 – Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA), the governing body of Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) free zone, today unveiled a report titled “Dubai’s Healthcare Ecosystem Highlights” at Arab Health 2024, which provides key insights and strong growth indicators in the emirate’s healthcare sector. The new report sheds light on Dubai Healthcare City’s (DHCC) commitment to advancing the healthcare ecosystem, and its approach to seamlessly integrating core healthcare services and collaborating with global organisations.

Key findings from the report highlight the key role DHCC plays as the emirate’s healthcare investment hub, with the free zone’s turnover between 2020 and 2024 expected to increase significantly at an estimated 16% Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR). The figure underscores the free zone’s unwavering commitment to its ecosystem’s efficiency and sustainability, and confidence from major regional and international healthcare investors in DHCC’s capability to enable growth opportunities in Dubai’s dynamic healthcare landscape.

China’s MSA Capital Signs Landmark MoU with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment (MISA)

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 29 January, 2024: In a landmark development for Asia to Saudi Arabia cross border business and innovation, MSA Capital via its emerging markets investment arm MSA Novo and the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA) signed a memorandum of understanding to bolster economic cooperation and foster innovation in key sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This strategic partnership, formalised by HE Khalid A. Al-Falih, Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia, and Yazeed Al-Shammari, MSA Partner on its Saudi Innovation Initiative, seeks to bolster economic cooperation and foster innovation across strategic sectors in the Kingdom, such as logistics, financial technology, core technology, healthcare, robotics, and ecommerce. It also sets out to support Saudi companies in securing strategic global investments, particularly from Asian investors, while exploring cross border opportunities in the capital markets. The MoU also includes the development of Saudi Arabia’s venture capital ecosystem, facilitating joint ventures across sectors, and evaluating the establishment of MSA’s Regional Headquarters in Saudi Arabia.

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 29 يناير 2024 – أعلن معهد صناديق الثروة السيادية عن عقد مؤتمر المكاتب والشركات العائلية – دبي 2024 (فورت دبي) في الثاني من فبراير المقبل في متحف المستقبل بدبي. ويأتي هذا الحدث البارز، والذي تشارك في تنظيمه شركة باتيل العائلية بجيلها الثالث من الولايات المتحدة، تحت شعار ملهم “وفرة من أجل المستقبل” حيث يمثل هذا المؤتمر ملتقىً محورياً للثروات العالمية ورواد الابتكار من حول العالم، وهذا ما يتماشى بشكل مثالي مع رؤية دبي المستقبلية.

وأكد لاكشمي نارايانان، رئيس مجلس إدارة معهد صناديق الثروة السيادية، على الدور المحوري لهذا المؤتمر في إدارة الثروة وتحقيق التقدم العالمي قائلاً: “يعدّ هذا المؤتمر إنجازاً استثنائياً، إذ يدشن حقبةً جديدةً من الازدهار والتقدم العالمي. إن ما حققته دبي من دمج بين الابتكار والتنوع الثقافي في رؤيتها المستقبلية، إلى جانب التزامها بالاستثمار الأخلاقي، يمثل حافزاً لإجراء مناقشات بناءة تتجاوز العقبات التقليدية والحدود المعهودة”.
