Harley Owners Group creates breast cancer awareness through a Pink Ride across the UAE

Dubai, UAE; October 29, 2023

UAE-based owners of Harley-Davidson motorbikes today conducted a breast cancer awareness programme through a country-wide Pink Ride that saw more than 130 members of the Harley Owners Group drive through the country’s highways crisscrossing the deserts and mountains for more than two hours.

Started from the Harley-Davidson showroom in Dubai at 6:30 am, all the 130 bikes roared in to the highways, supported by a team of marshals and volunteers that saw the team ride across the UAE’s desert and mountainous regions before checking into Hilton Palm Jumeirah for breakfast.

From 17 to 19 November, the capital Abu Dhabi will host the eleventh session of the Emirates International Orthopaedic Conference, organized by the Emirates Orthopaedic Division of the Emirates Medical Association at the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Center “ADNEC”, with the participation of 1000 international experts with the support of the Department of Tourism in Abu Dhabi and in cooperation with the Department of Health, the Emirates Health Services, and the Dubai Health Authority

في 29 أكتوبر 2023/ أكد صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي، عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الشارقة، الرئيس الأعلى لمجمع اللغة العربية بالشارقة، أن الإمارة ماضيةُ في جهود دعم ونشر وتعليم وتدريس اللغة العربية في مختلف أنحاء العالم، وحفظها من الزوال، مشيراً سموه إلى تتابع المشروعات الخاصة بها مثل المعجم التاريخي للغة العربية الذي يتضمن تاريخ اللغة ومن تداولوها مما يثري من معرفة وثقافة المتعلم والمتحدث والدارس للغة العربية.

جاء ذلك خلال حضور سموه انطلاق فعاليات مؤتمر الشارقة الدولي الأول لدراسات اللغة العربية في أوروبا، صباح اليوم الأحد، والذي ينظمه مجمع اللغة العربية بالشارقة، تحت شعار “الدراسات العربية في أوروبا: واقعٌ وآفاق”، وذلك في دارة الدكتور سلطان القاسمي، بمشاركة كبيرة من العلماء والمستشرقين والمستعربين من الدول الأوروبية المختلفة.
