Taraf and KARL LAGERFELD Announce Partnership for Luxury Branded Villas

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 30 October 2023: Taraf, the real estate division of UAE-headquartered investment holding group Yas Holding and internationally renowned fashion house KARL LAGERFELD have signed a partnership agreement to collaborate on luxury branded villas in Dubai.

The project, set to launch in the coming months, will be KARL LAGERFELD’S third branded residential property in the world and the first in the Middle East. In 2021, the fashion house launched luxury residences in Marbella, Spain and this year, it announced a hotel tower with branded residences in Malaysia.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 30 October, 2023: National Bonds, the UAE’s savings and investment company, reported a substantial surge in its customer base in 2023 with over 40,000 new customers, a remarkable increase of more than double, compared to the previous year.

At the same time, over the past five years, National Bonds has achieved a compounded annual growth of 12%. This announcement coincides with the celebrations of World Savings Day and underscores the increasing trust that customers have in the company and its products. These results align with the findings of the National Bonds Savings Index, which revealed that 68% of those who have not saved yet plan to start saving within the next six months to a year.

HE Ahmed bin Rakkad Al Ameri, CEO of the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), accompanied by Mansour Al Hassani, Director of Publishers Services Department presented the awards for the two categories. Elina Harutyunyan, Head of Publishing at Antares Publishing in Armenia, was presented the award in the individual professionals selling translation rights in publishing houses category. Her tireless efforts to expand the reach of literature to international audiences and dedication to the translation movement has significantly enriched the global literary landscape by bringing Indian voices and narratives to readers around the world.
