UAE CLIMATE CHANGE AND ENVIRONMENT MINISTER DELIVERS KEYNOTE TO ARCTIC CIRCLE ASSEMBLY

Iceland Visit by H.E. Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri highlights effects of climate change

[Dubai, 28 October] Ahead of COP28 in a month, Her Excellency Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri delivered the keynote speech to a global gathering of climate-concerned officials at the tenth anniversary meeting of The Arctic Circle Assembly in Iceland recently.

The Arctic Circle is the first region in the world to test and study the impact of climate change, making it a vital region for the Minister, ahead of the imminent COP28, to talk about the UAE-hosted climate talks and its role in steering climate action conversations.

This year’s Arctic Circle Assembly, the largest international gathering on the Arctic, comprises more than 2000 participants from over 60 countries, including governments, experts, civil society, scientists, students, academics, and indigenous communities.

جامعة دبي تختتم مشاركة ناجحة في

معرض الخليج الثاني للتعليم والتدريب

اختتمت جامعة دبي مشاركة ناجحة في فعاليات معرض الخليج الثاني للتعليم والتدريب، والذي اختتم فعالياته في ابوظبي برعاية وزارة التربية والتعليم، وبتنظيم من شركة “ميد بوينت” المتخصصة في تنظيم وإدارة الفعاليات.


وشهد المعرض خلال فعالياته حضور أكثر من 3000 طالب وطالبة من المدارس، ونخبة من طلبة الجامعات في الدولة ومنطقة الخليج العربية.


ويشكل المعرض الذي شاركت فيه أكثر من 30 جامعة ومؤسسة أكاديمية منصة تتيح للطلبة، وخاصة في المرحلة الثانوية، تحديد الخيارات المناسبة لهم من الجامعات والبرامج الأكاديمية، من خلال وجود ممثلي الجامعات المحلية والدولية، لمناقشة كل ما يتعلق باهتماماتهم وطموحاتهم العلمية، والإجابة عن جميع استفساراتهم، لتمكينهم من تحديد مسارهم الدراسي ما بعد التخرج من المرحلة المدرسية.
