The minister praised the success of the UAE’s F&B sector in building the digital infrastructure through the UAE Food Platform to streamline public-private collaboration in food security and optimising the F&B ecosystem

Dubai, United Arab Emirates; 22 September 2023:

The UAE Minister of Economy, H.E. Abdulla bin Touq al Marri, affirmed the UAE’s commitment to transforming its food and agriculture sector to grow its contribution to GDP by $10 billion and creating 20,000 jobs in the next five years and unveiled the seven key pillars of the strategic direction in achieving it. The key strategies include localising innovation, fostering a UAE-first culture and food supply chain, and providing farmers with the necessary support and resources to make them a global leader in agri-food innovation and sustainability.

جامعة دبي تختتم برنامج استقبال وإرشاد الطلبة الجدد

بمشاركة أكثر من 300 طالب وطالبة

إختتمت جامعة دبي بمقرها في المدينة الأكاديمية برنامج استقبال وإرشاد الطلبة الجدد في العام الأكاديمي 2023 – 2024 بمشاركة أكثر من 300 طالب وطالبة والذي تم تنفيذه على مدى 3 أسابيع.

وتحدث خلال البرنامج الدكتور حسين الأحمد نائب رئيس الجامعة للشئون الأكاديمية عن جوانب اكاديمية تتعلق بالعلاقة بين الطالب والاستاذ وكيفية التواصل مع الهيئة التدريسية وقدم للطلبة عدة نصائح مهمة للتركيز والابداع والحفاظ على مستوى متميز بما يساهم في نجاح مسيرتهم الاكاديمية والعملية، كما قدم لهم نبذة عن كليات الجامعة وبرامجها وتخصصاتها ومبناها المستدام وقاعاتها الدراسية ومراكزها المتطورة ومختبراتها المجهزة بأحدث التقنيات.

Sharjah, UAE, September 7, 2023 – In a significant stride towards advancing cancer research, Dr. Rania Zaarour and her team at the Thumbay Research Institute for Precision Medicine (TRIPM) of the Gulf Medical University (GMU), have been awarded a prestigious research grant for their innovative work.
