A significant participation of women at the outdoor adventures platform at Abu Dhabi Hunting Exhibition 

The outdoor adventures platform, which is part of the activities of the 20th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition from 2nd to 8th September will witness fun and exciting activities with the latest developments and information in the field of outdoor sports, as well as amazing live shows and distinguished entertainment, which represents a new adventure experience during the days of the event which are full of fun for family and friends. 

Outdoor activities, such as camping, safaris, hunting of all kinds, and off-road adventures, are an important way to reconnect with nature, and an opportunity to explore, enjoy and learn new skills. 

While the sectors of the Abu Dhabi Hunting Exhibition showcase the latest innovations and equipment for practicing outdoor sports and all their accessories, visitors to the event are invited to interact with active and influential figures in these exciting sports to learn about their personal experiences and advice, and also communicate with industry leaders to learn about the latest market trends. 

It is worthwhile mentioning that the Outdoor Adventures platform this year will witness an important participation of women, as the experience of Al Namos team, the first Emirati women’s fishing team, will be presented, and a symposium on encouraging women to participate in marine sports, will be presented by Lamia Al Saikal, Asma Al Raisi, Fatima Al Hammadi, Maryam Al Ameri, and Aisha Al Ketbi, members of Al Namos team. 

As for Nayla Al Balushi, she will talk about her experience and journey as the first Emirati woman to climb Mount Everest, in addition to a symposium on “Inspiring Arab women in adventure, exciting and challenging sports, including mountain climbing.” As for Nour Farouk, she will give the audience the opportunity to learn how to plan a successful adventure with the family and create remarkable memories. 

For his part, Hamad Al Jabri from Ibdaa Stables participates in the event “Tourism in the desert”. As for Abdullah Al Harithi, he will talk about the services provided by the Abu Dhabi Adventure Team, and Thaer Adnan from “Adventure for Life” will talk about how to prepare for camping trips and will explain the requirements and necessities for a successful trip. 

Mahmoud Qalioubi from Mamlouk Shooting company will participate with a presentation titled “Inheriting Traditions – The Art and Skill of Horseback Shooting”. While the effectiveness of simulation and virtual reality technologies will be provided by “GigaWorks” throughout the exhibition days. 

Amer Abu Chakra from Rami Automotive will also participate and talk about safe off-road driving: the importance of modifying the vehicle according to quality and safety standards. Tony Kayrouz will talk about the four-wheel drive vehicle and how to make it suit various types of roads, and four-wheel drive vehicles for adventures. Mahdi Al-Amin will talk about the basic rules of safety in adventures, and “Build the four-wheel drive car of your dreams.” 

The Outdoor Adventures platform will give a presentation on “Sustainability in Tourism and its Positive Impact on the Environment” by the researcher Ajmal Hassan – Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), who will also give a presentation on wildlife conservation. 

The platform’s activities also include “Comprehensive solutions from A to Z for adventure seekers” by Tawfiq Mahmoud (Iron Man), Highlander Adventure: The Adventure of a Lifetime – Fadi Hashisho (Highlander UAE), off-road driving using a small four-wheel drive vehicle – Muhammad Khaled Abu Al-Ela (MK on Road), and modification of the car in an environmentally friendly manner provided by Sherman Fernandez (Rami Automotive). 

The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2023 is witnessing wide local and regional participation in the “hunting and camping equipment” sector, which is considered one of the most beautiful sectors that event enthusiasts await every year, and is witnessing a remarkable public turnout from enthusiasts of camping, land trips and heritage to enjoy a unique adventure of its kind to live the joy of hunting and camping, and enjoy nature up close, by exploring all available options and stocking up their supplies for unforgettable trips.
