Morrisville Samp Army snap Delhi Bulls’ victory run through a thrilling four-wicket win

3^rd Dec 2023, Abu Dhabi: Morrisville Samp Army marched past Delhi Bulls by four wickets in the 15th match of the Abu Dhabi T10 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium. Delhi Bulls were restricted to 95 for 8 through fine spells from Jason Holder (3 for 15) and Salman Irshad (3 for 14). Samp Army then rode to victory with two balls to spare with Faf Du Plessis top-scoring with 30 runs and Najibullah Zadran hitting a timely unbeaten 25.

Deccan Gladiators push struggling Team Abu Dhabi to fourth consecutive defeat

2^nd December 2023, Abu Dhabi:  Deccan Gladiators trounced struggling Team Abu Dhabi by 63 runs in the 12th match of the Abu Dhabi T10 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium. Riding on quick knocks from Andre Fletcher (41), Nicholas Pooran (30) and Tom Kohler-Cadmore (35), Gladiators posted 141 for 6 in 10 overs.

Team Abu Dhabi could muster only 78 for 5 in 10 overs and crashed to their fourth defeat in four matches. Leus du Plooy (25) and Colin Ingram (19) put on a 41 runs partnership for the fourth wicket to give some respect to their total.

Abu Dhabi, 30^th November 2023: After hammering an unbeaten 68 off 33 balls on the opening day of the 2023 edition of Abu Dhabi T10, Deccan Gladiators opener Tom Kohler-Cadmore admitted that he was surprised to see the swing on the surface at the Zayed Cricket Stadium. The English batter is quite used to playing in the UAE conditions, as he has displayed his skills across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah over the past couple of years in multiple leagues. But the cool winds and a patch of grass on the track made the conditions suitable for swing bowlers.

“They bowled very nice up top, it swung a bit more than I am used to it, especially out here. It was quite hard. It felt like when they bowled in too full, it was sticking on the surface. I found it little tricky to get used to that,” Tom said.
