ATRC Launches Nationwide STEM Competition at A2RL to Drive the Next Generation of Innovators

  • The second edition of the A2RL STEM Competition engages 140 students from schools and universities across all seven Emirates

Abu Dhabi, UAE – 27 October 2025 – The Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), the entity spearheading Abu Dhabi’s research and development ecosystem, today announced the second edition of the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL) STEM Competition. The event will be held during the second season of A2RL as part of Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week (ADAW), organized by the Smart and Autonomous Systems Council. The A2RL STEM Competition is a nationwide autonomous racing challenge that brings together high school and university students from across the UAE to inspire and equip the next generation of STEM leaders with hands-on experience in robotics, AI, and autonomous systems, using 1/18th-scale AWS DeepRacer autonomous cars.

PureHealth recognises emergency room heroes across its SEHA Hospitals

Abu Dhabi, 27 October 2025: PureHealth has honoured emergency room (ER) heroes across its SEHA hospital network, for their vital contributions to healthcare in Abu Dhabi. Dubai, U.A.E. – October 20, 2025: Forbes Middle East has revealed its annual rankings of the region’s Top Healthcare Leaders for 2025, through two rankings. The first recognizes 50 founders and shareholders redefining the Middle East’s healthcare ecosystem, while the second highlights the 100 executives and CEOs leading its largest and most influential companies.

To curate the two rankings, Forbes Middle East evaluated several factors, including the size of the company, the leader and the company’s impact on the region’s healthcare sector, innovative initiatives and achievements over the past year, the experience of the leader in the sector, diversity of operations, level of transparency, and sustainability and CSR initiatives, and ownership percentage in the company for the shareholders list, among others.
