Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts ’ Kilo of Kindness Campaign: Spreading Joy One Kilo at a Time Dubai, 10th November 2023 – Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts proudly concluded its annual charity program, the Kilo of Kindness campaign, marking another year of impactful contributions towards the community. This year, four distinguished Mövenpick properties – Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah; Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City, Dubai; Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach, Dubai; and Mövenpick Jumeirah Village Triangle, Dubai – united forces for a noble cause.
Partnering together with the Emirates Charitable Association, a prominent NGO dedicated to supporting orphans in the UAE and across several third-world countries, the campaign aimed to extend assistance to families, construct mosques, schools, and more.
The initiative, running from October 1st to 31st, invited both in-house and non-resident guests, as well as Heartists, to contribute towards this charitable cause. Through their generosity and goodwill, this year’s campaign achieved a remarkable milestone, culminating in a donation of 1927.30 kilograms of essential items. This substantial contribution comprised non-perishable food items, clothing, stationery and toys, all benefiting the Emirates Charitable Association’s noble endeavours.
