Unveils American Innovation Showcase at U.S. Center at COP28

  • New members Baker Hughes, Boeing, Carrier and United Airlines join the Corporate Coalition for Innovation & Technology toward Net Zero (CCITNZ) to help countries meet their decarbonization and climate change goals.
  • The U.S. Center at COP28 will feature an exhibit titled “U.S. Innovation: Pathways toward Net Zero” from CCITNZ members and partners.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 28, 2023 –The Corporate Coalition for Innovation & Technology toward Net Zero (CCITNZ), a cross-sector business alliance dedicated to helping countries meet decarbonization and climate change goals through innovation and technology, is proud to welcome the addition of four new members: Baker Hughes, Boeing, Carrier and United. Announced last year at COP27, these companies join founding members Bechtel, GE, GM, Invenergy, Honeywell and Johnson Controls.

At a time when it was not common to see women in the field of art, especially in the mural painting, Seema’s decided to walk with the traditional colours as a challenge. She drew her beginning lines in Thalassery, Kannur and later shifted to Mahe for the specialization in the Indian Murals.

Lulu launches Al Emarat Awwal initiative to promote local agri and manufactured products.

Abu Dhabi: In a bid to support the local products and farmers, Lulu Hypermarkets launched the Al Emarat Awwal (UAE First) initiative across all Lulu hypermarkets in the country. The initiative was inaugurated by HE Mariam Bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Almheiri, UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment in the presence of Dr. Juma Al Matrooshi, Director General of Dubai Silicon Oasis, Yusuffali M.A., Chairman of the Lulu Group and other dignitaries at Lulu Hypermarket, Silicon Central Mall in Dubai.

After inauguration, UAE Minister and other dignitaries toured the various “Al Emarat Awwal” initiatives which will be on display till the UAE national day on 2nd December.

Fifteen companies chosen by ProChile through a public call are set to join the pavilion’s mission, showcasing their innovative solutions in tackling the impacts of the climate crisis.

Dubai – November 28, 2023:Marking a pivotal moment, Chile’s Foreign Minister Alberto van Klaverenunveils the spectacular Chile Pavilion for COP28 in Dubai, which will host side events organized by the country during the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), to be held from November 30 to December 12.

COP is the largest and most important environmental gathering of the year, and this year will be attended by over 30,000 government, business, and civil society delegates to address the climate crisis. In this context, for the third time, Chile’s pavilion will be part of the Blue Zone of the conference, where the nations’ delegations will hold their events
