The City’s Favourite Food, Drink and Music Festival, Taste of Abu Dhabi, Returns Bigger, Better and Tastier than Ever
Guests can enjoy 3 days of ultimate festival vibes including numerous bands and DJs, exclusive workshops with celebrity chefs, and pop-ups from 15 of the City’s best restaurants
Abu Dhabi, 5th September 2023– MENA Live Events announced this morning that it is bringing Taste of Abu Dhabi back to the nation’s capital, in a completely re-vamped and re-imagined format. Guests can enjoy 3 days of the most acclaimed restaurants in the city, a celebrity chef line-up like never before, and an all new music concept. Expected to draw in over 15,000 guests, this festival promises to be the foodie event of the year.
From Friday 10th – Sunday 12th November 2023, foodies, families and friends will gather at Gateway Park South, Yas Island for an unforgettable celebration of food, drinks and music. Taste of Abu Dhabi aims to highlight the best cuisines that the city has to offer, showcasing 15 of Abu Dhabi’s most acclaimed restaurants. Each restaurant will specially curate a menu of three to five ‘taster’ size dishes, so guests can make their way across the impressive line-up, selecting their favourites as they go. Each restaurant will feature at least 1 vegetarian option, and 1 kid-friendly dish to ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy. Dishes can be purchased at the event by credit/ debit card, or with vouchers included in select ticket packages.

Penelope’s, BB Social, Namak, Otoro, José by Pizarro, Marco’s Italian, Oii, La Carnita, Dai Pai Dong and Oak Room.
A foodie festival isn’t complete without some of the best pros around! Taste of Abu Dhabi will feature 3 days of exclusive workshops hosted by celebrity chefs, where guests can learn the best kitchen secrets, techniques, and insights directly from the experts. Whether you’re a seasoned home cook or a passionate foodie, these sessions will take your culinary skills to new heights.
The first Celebrity chefs confirmed so far include John Torode, José Pizarro, Marco Pierre White, Jenny Morris, Shelina Permalloo and Ritu Dalmia.
The best part? All workshops are included for free with all event entry tickets. Sign-up for sessions will be first come, first served on the day of the event.
And what better way to walk off a gourmet meal than with a little shopping? An impressive market of artisan vendors and established brands will be selling their treats and trinkets, sampling their products and more!
To keep the festival vibes pumping through the weekend, Taste of Abu Dhabi will feature an all new music concept consisting of multiple stages throughout the venue. Each stage will be busy from day to night, each packed with everything from DJ’s to intimate acoustic sets, so guests can choose their own vibe at any time.
Looking for the perfect grape to pair with your dish, or some refreshing hops to cool down after your dancing? Guests can head to one of five 21+ licensed lounges within the event.
Have some little chefs at home? Kids can keep busy all weekend in a mega kids zone including bouncy castles, kids cooking workshops and more. When it’s time to fuel up, little ones will have plenty of options, as all restaurants will serve a kid-friendly dish to keep their energy and bellies full. Best of all, children 12 and under enter the event for free!
