Jury selects 100 top international jewellery designers at the World Academy Design Awards that represent US$298 billion gold jewellery industry

More than 300 jewellery designers from 31 countries have submitted their best designs from which the jury has shortlisted 100 for the next round of selection in June 2023

Gold, diamond or other precious metals and stones such as ruby or emerald don’t mean anything to consumers if not designed elegantly. Without the right design and packaging, gold remains bullion and could be used by banks to strengthen their vaults. Similarly, diamonds or other precious stones remain just rough ‘stones’ without any consumer appeal.
