MENA M&A transactions totalled US$85.2 billion in 2022

Dubai, UAE – Refinitiv, an LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) business, released the Middle East and North Africa investment banking analysis for 2022. According to the report, an estimated US$1.6 billion worth of investment banking fees were generated in the Middle East & North Africa during 2022, the highest annual total since our records began in 2000. Fees in the region increased 5% compared to 2021, in contrast to a 33% decline in global investment banking fees.
