JAEGER-LECOULTRE PARTICIPATES IN THE 19TH EDITION OF DOHA JEWELLERY AND WATCHES EXHIBITION
Jaeger-LeCoultre, the Swiss watchmaking Maison is honoured to announce its participation at the 19th edition of the Doha Watches and Jewellery Exhibition, taking place from 20th – 25th of February 2023. With close to two decades of being the epitome of luxury and elegance in Qatar, the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition brings together luxury connoisseurs from all over the world to celebrate exquisite craftsmanship.

This year, the Maison is highlighting the iconic Reverso line at the exhibition. Since its creation in 1931, Reverso has created many timeless stories, establishing it as the icon and representing the very best of Jaeger-LeCoultre. On showcase at the exhibition will be some of the newest timepieces from the Reverso line such as the Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar that preserves the legendary spirit of the original 1931 model whilst incorporating the spirit of innovation with a touch of contemporary flair and modern elegance. The watch masterpiece boasts ultimate refinement with the amplification of delicate lines, contrasting hues, and a refreshed look of the Reverso dial.
With the La Grande Maison’s continuous pursuit of exploring the dialogue between horology and art, Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced the ‘Made of Maker’s programme in 2022 with the aim of collaborating with artists, designers, and craftsmen, and honour the core principles of the brand. Its latest instalment in the programme features its partnership with renowned lettering artist Alex Trochut who is most notable for his experimental approach to typography.
Alex Trochut’s contemporary alphabet style inspired by the Art Deco, the 1931 Alphabet– a representation of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s heritage and values, will be presented at the exhibition. Guests will have a chance to create personalized engraving on a reverso case-back following the style of the 1931 Alphabet and engage by the strap bar where a wide array of watch bands and leather straps are featured.
Aside from the engaging experience through customization, guests will be welcomed with the meticulous journey between high calibre watchmaking and mechanical artistry, reflected through the watch collections the Maison is well known for. This includes the Polaris Collection inspired by Jaeger-LeCoultre’s vast archives that continues the adventure for any man of action. Since its first unveiling in 1992, the Master Control Collection has also become the embodiment of carefully cultivated watchmaking tradition, that merges classic aesthetics and technical movements. Adding sparkle to the showcase is the Rendez-Vous collection – an unmistakably feminine, spontaneous and a graceful tribute to fine-watchmaking. All these will be available at the exhibition, allowing visitors to deep dive into the beauty and storytelling of each watch collection.
“We are thrilled to be participating in the Doha Watches and Jewellery Exhibition for their 19th Edition. We welcome watch enthusiasts and general visitors into the Maison’s world of high watchmaking creations, allowing us to further strengthen our presence in the region. It is a wonderful opportunity to be able to showcase Jaeger-LeCoultre’s timeless and iconic watch collections and highlight exceptional partnerships such as our latest artist collaboration with Alex Trochut, that speaks to the creative and collaborative strength of the Maison.” says Nader Iskander, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Middle East, India and South Africa Brand Director.
