Honor of Kings released its first esports documentary that captures YaLLa Esports’s journey to KIC2022

January2, 2023 – The 2022Honor of Kings International Championship (KIC2022) has officially come to an end with fierce battles between 16 teams from different parts of the world gathered in Shenzen, China and Seoul, South Korea to compete for the $10,000,000 prize pool.

With a renewed focus on growing a global audience, Honor of Kings is increasing its efforts to reach out to communities in different parts of the world. KIC2022 took place from the December 3to December30 with international teams competing for the crown.

Honor of Kings has crowned Wuhan.eStarProas the KIC2022 Champions along with a prize of $3,500,000. Intheintense matches between the top players of international teams, Foshan.DRG.GKcame in second securing a prize of $1,300,000and Chongqing.Wolves and Beijing.WBcame in third/fourth earning $800,000 each.

Representing the Middle East and North Africa was YaLLa Esports, who won first place in the MENA Qualifier and secured a grand prize of $12,000 which made the team qualify to the world championship amongst global teams.Honor of Kings has rolled out a documentary that captures the journey of YaLLa Esportsfrom the MENA Qualifier to the global tournament, KIC2022. It provides a glimpse through the lens of the players on how Honor of Kingshelped themto build their careers in esports,travel to a new country, win generous prizes and help achieve their dreams.

YaLLa Esports battled their way through KIC2022 against Chinese teams, Edward Gaming and Wolves, and Southeast Asia team, Impunity. YaLLa Esports attended the tournament in South Korea with teams from other markets, like Türkiye, Brazil and LATAM, and walked away with $250,000.
