Unconventional Japanese dining and unprecedented Alpine experiences meet in an exclusive collaboration with ski chalet-themed restaurant and bar, Publique, and MICHELIN Bib Gourmand-awarded restaurant, Reif Japanese Kushiyaki.
All tastebuds will find something they love on the pop-up menu. It is the first time Publique, part of Gates Hospitality, has united with chef Reif Othman’s Reif Japanese Kushiyaki concept to create a completely unique offering in Dubai.
Whether you fancy comforting melted cheese sharing dishes, or delicious playful Japanese bites, you can now enjoy both at the mountain lodge-themed setting in Souk Madinat Jumeirah.
For something indulgent and comforting, choose from Publique’s heartening signature dishes of cheese fondue and raclette with ratte potatoes, which are both served with cold cuts, assorted breads and house salads; or Alpine classics such as French onion soup, beef brisket and indulgent sharing charcuterie boards.
Or if beautiful, unconventional Japanese food sounds good, go for Reif Japanese Kushiyaki’s crispy baby squid or shrimp, the sashimi sharing platter, the katsu chicken sando, or a delicious selection of uramaki rolls including classics such as California, spicy tuna, and crispy soft shell crab – amongst plenty of other options.
The menu is available now at Publique, the vibrant bar and restaurant where guests can enjoy an authentic Alpine experience in the heart of Dubai. Inside you will be transported to a warm, rustic mountain lodge, while the chalet-style terrace provides a relaxed sun trap with pristine views onto the Arabian Gulf.
Reif Japanese Kushiyaki is a multi-award-winning Japanese restaurant with an extensive menu of unconventional Japanese dishes, based in Dar Al Wasl Mall and Time Out Market Dubai, helmed by chef, restaurateur, and stalwart of the Dubai dining scene, the maverick Reif Othman.
The special Publique x Reif Japanese Kushiyaki menu will be available until February 2023.
