Prominent UAE businessman and philantrophist, Mr. Shamsuddin P.M (78) has passed away. He is the founder of Printwell and Printmasters- print production companies as well as Rafa Audio & Video.

Being among the first wave of immigrants from Kerala to land in the UAE, Mr. Shamsuddin has been a figure head of the expatriate businessmen community in the UAE. He began his entrepreneurial career with the establishment of Shamsuddin Traders in Bur Dubai which was later rebranded as Rafa Audio & Video, which was the first ever Malayalam movie cassette company. He also went on to set up his flagship ventures – Printwell and Printmasters – print production powerhouses. Mr. Shamsuddin was an investor with Malabar Group in India and member of the board of directors of Malabar Investments PLC, the international arm of Malabar Group.

An ardent philanthropist, Mr. Shamsuddin was the President of Baithul Maal Charitable Trust in Thalassery. He has helped numerous lives during his illustrious career through numerous charity donations. He is survived by his spouse, Padikkal Sainaba and children Sabitha, Shabnam, Zayid and Sanam.
