Masdar signs Memorandum of Understanding with Kyrgyzstan to explore renewable energy opportunities

• MoU envisages development of projects with potential capacity of up to 1 gigawatt  (GW)
• Projects would include ground-based and floating solar, and hydropower plants

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; April 15, 2022: Masdar, one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies, announced today that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kyrgyz Republic’s Ministry of Energy to explore the development of renewable energy opportunities in the Central Asian nation and support Kyrgyzstan’s clean-energy objectives.
