Award Wins 

Don’t just take our word for it – our food innovations are award winners.  

In November 2021, FSL picked up the Gulfood Manufacturing Industry Excellence Award for Innovative Ingredients Solutions, for our Plant-Based Shish kebab – the first Plant-Based Shish Kebab in the world.  We have combined the Arabic taste and texture profile in a plant-based meat product.  

FSL also won the Gulfood Manufacturing Industry Excellence Award for Innovative Ingredients Solutions for our Healthy plant-based Chocolate Spread in November 2021.  

This ingredient solution revolutionises the chocolate spreads category which usually contain 58% sugar. We reduced the sugar content to half this amount with a proprietary new fibre which is sweet in taste. The ingredient is a completely natural fibre, with no artificial sweeteners used. And as a nut-free product, it can be used in schools and consumed by those with nut allergens.  

Our product can also be customised to go beyond just the chocolate and hazelnut flavour profile, with blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, coconut and orange flavour variants.
