KPMG appoints Osama Harmouche as new Head of Audit
KPMG Lower Gulf (the UAE and Oman) has announced the appointment of Osama Harmouche as the new Head of Audit, strengthening the firm’s senior leadership team in the Middle East. Osama, who took up his new role effective 1 February 2022, has been in the firm’s leadership team as the Office Managing Partner and Head of Audit for Abu Dhabi since 2019, and became a Lower Gulf board member in May 2020. Osama will join the KPMG Lower Gulf executive committee and will be responsible for continuing the firm’s journey of transformation of the Audit practice across the Lower Gulf offices.

Uniphore Announces $400 Million Series E Funding Round to Support Explosive Growth and Global Demand for Automating Conversations across the Enterprise; Valuation Climbs to $2.5 Billion
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 16 February, 2022 – Uniphore, the leader in conversational automation today announced its Series E funding round of $400 million. The round, which brings Uniphore’s total funding to more than half a billion ($610 million) is led by NEA and raises the company’s valuation to $2.5 billion. March Capital and other existing Uniphore investors along with new entities are also participating in this funding round.
