Commemoration Day clearly reflects the pride of UAE people in the sacrifices of our armed forces: Mohammed Salim Al Olama
HE Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Health Services, said that on Commemoration Day the hearts of all Emiratis unite to salute the heroic deeds of our martyrs who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of their homeland.
Al Olama added that this day reflects the national cohesion and genuine interdependence between the leadership and the people. It’s also an affirmation of the willpower and determination of the Emirati people in facing challenges, which make them more united and coherent in the love of and sacrifice for the sake of the homeland.
He continued to say that Commemoration Day also reflects the pride of the UAE people in the sacrifices of our armed forces in order to keep the UAE flag aloft, stressing that the directives of the UAE leadership to commemorate a day for martyrs are an affirmation of pride in their heroic deeds and that they are a source of inspiration and pride for generations to come.
Al Olama added that the establishment of the Martyrs’ Families Affairs Office is an expression of the state’s care for the families of martyrs, in recognition of their role in bringing up their children on the deep-rooted values of loyalty and sacrifice in the UAE people.
