Carluccio’s is reeling in Italian food lovers with a delightful, limited time menuSapori di Mare (Flavours of the Sea)that will be served from now until the last day of Expo 2020 across the UAE.

Catering to the discerning palate and the influx of visitors expected for this world-class event, the menu features coastal classics and is a true celebration of Italian culinary greatness, according to Chef Roberto Senese.

Packed with fresh seafood, spiced with a rich arrabbiata sauce, and served with warm home-made focaccia, the traditional Fish Stew is comfort in a bowl.

Seared Scallops served on a bed of zucchini and pea purée, Salmon Carpaccio topped with semi-dried cherry tomatoes, pink peppercorns, red onion, caper berry and a lime dressing andTuna Tartareserved with smashed avocado salsa, semi-dried cherry tomatoes, shaved black truffle and a touch of balsamic reduction make up the exciting ‘crudo’ section.

The main courses are a veritable feast for both the palette and senses with the freshest fish, succulent shellfish and garnishes used to create something truly unique.

From the Spaghetti Alle Vongole with sauteed clams to the Seafood Tortellini stuffed with prawns, crab and ricotta cheese served in a rich seafood bisque, pasta at its best.

Don’t miss out on trying the rather decadent TunaTartare pizza topped with stracciatella cheese, rocket, caper berry and shaved black truffle or the Mussels Marinara, sautéed mussels in a seafood bisquetopped with a seabass fillet and pickled red onions.

Steak on your mind? The pan seared Tuna Steak served medium rare with asparagus, sautéed tomatoes, salsa verde and pink peppercorns will have you going beyond meat for sure!

The desserts on the menu are equally inventive and really hit the sweet spot. Standouts include the Caprese, a traditional soft almond cake served with vanilla gelato and crème anglaise and theChocolate Crocant, a warm hazelnut and cocoa concoction striking the perfect balance of sweet and crunchy.
