THE WOMEN’S SHOW ONLINE EVENT–“Back to School.”
30 August 2021 – The “Back to School” edition of the Women’s Show online event was successfully aired LIVE on various Facebook pages; thousands of live viewers watched and interacted during the entire program. The event was streamed on Star FM Radio Facebook page and hosted by Ms. Rania Younes.
H. H. SheikhaShamma Al Nayhan initiated the event by a welcoming speech and referred to the resuming of school classes in the UAE and conveyed parents to be caring to their children both physically and mentally and to allow them to express their feelings whenever they need attention and information as this will lead them to become a well-educated generations.
Rima Sayegh Janho the CEO and founder of the Women’s Show in her opening remarks said that “as the summer vacation is over and there are many questions turning in our heads such as : will there be a vaccine for the kids ? How should the parents deal with their children’s mental health? After what they went through during the covid year (shifting into online schooling, no physical bonding with friends).Should we do a booster shot? Wherefore, for these reasons we have invited specialists to enlighten us.
Musical artist celebrity, Ms. Zain Awad, serenaded the crowd with her captivating voice and charisma by singing one of her signature hits.

Dr. Jacques Mokhbat, an infectiologue specialist – presented a topic on Covid and vaccines. He explained the efficacy of the different vaccines available in the market, proper information on the booster dose (3rd shot) and the right age for children to be vaccinated.
Renowneddietician andnutritionist Dr. Carla Habib Mourad emphasized the importance of hydrationto a child’s health and wellness; and offered tips on how to best ensure kids get their recommended daily water intake. She also showcasedthe TummyfishApp, an offering of the Nestlé for Healthier Kids initiative which aims to help 50 million children lead healthier lives by 2030. The App features a virtual pet and encourages children to choose water over unhealthy drinks,while helping them keep track of their water intake.Mourad invited parents to download it from the App Store or Google Play.
Pediatrician Specialist Dr. Joanne Saade, discussed on the difference of kids formula vs. full cream milk including the importance of AA (Arachidonic Acid) & DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid)in the brain development of children, iron absorption for kids above 3 years old and the benefits of milk which contains HMO (human milk oligosaccharides) especially to those children who are in contact with environment regularly
A lot of exciting raffle prizes (hotel stay, jewelries, skincare products, and valuable gifts) were given to lucky live audience winners. Nestlé gave away amazing kids’ nutritious products during the competition. The Retreat Palm Dubai gave away wellness programs and healthy meal packages.
An interactive and interesting cooking segment was conducted by Chef SalwaShalabi, highlighting the preparations of healthy snack and lunch box for schoolers. Khazan provided hampers to live audiences.
