Husqvarna Construction appoints Jeff Bennett as the new General Manager for Middle East and Africa region

Bennett will be responsible forimplementing strategic measures to achieve rapid growth in emerging marketswhile finding innovative ways to shape the company future.

Dubai, UAE; 30 August 2021 –World leader in the construction and stone industries, Husqvarna Construction, and part of Husqvarna AB today announced the appointment of Jeff Bennett as the General Manager for its Middle East & Africanmarket.

In his new role, Bennett will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to fuel business growth and increase market share in Middle East & Africa through effective go-to-market modalities. He will also be spearheading the organization’s efforts to innovate and earn a competitive position in the region.

Jeff’s appointment is in line with the organization’s plan to re-defineits regional structure and focus more on strategies to grow and flourish in emerging markets, which are a part of the group’s priorities for building tomorrow strategy in 2025.

Over 60% of the global construction activity will be undertaken in emerging markets by 2025, up from 35%. The construction industry is expected to grow from $11,491.42 billion in 2020 to $12,526.4 billion in 2021 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9% and further expected to reach $16614.18 billion in 2025 at a CAGR of 7%, providing a new engine of global growth in these markets.

Bennett will be instrumental in leading the sales and service teams in winning new business and bringing value to clients by helping them reduce costs, make faster decisions, and improve their efficiency, especially while delivering unique and most challenging projects for the market.
