Bold New Kia Cerato Launched in Middle East and Africa

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, August10, 2021 –Today, Kia introduces the new Kia Cerato to markets in Middle East and Africa (MEA). The first model in MEA to sport Kia’s newly evolved logo. The new Cerato is sports-inspired and driver centric, built on Kia’s experience-orientated platform. With a modern, cutting-edge appearance, the new Cerato’s introduction to local markets sees the return of a regional favourite with a facelifted, sport-inspired design which brings the brand’s advanced safety functions and high-tech features to a car with a dynamic stance.

The all-new Cerato utilises full LED headlights which appear as slender lines with the radiator grille to underline the redesigning of the face of the model, defining the car’s sporty exterior. At the rear, strong horizontal lines add a bold appearance with depth to the fluid exterior design. Under the hood, Kia’s new and significantly improved 3rd generation powertrain engines, supports the Cerato’s fuel efficient drive.

Inside the Cerato, drivers can enjoy the best of comfort and technology, with high resolution 8-inch display screenand a 4-inch colour TFT LCD cluster for an improved, convenient driving experience.With the car’s new and improved IT connectivity, Kia’s new Multi-connection Bluetooth & Wireless Charging systems allow for a wire-freeuser experience.The model also features Remote Ignition and Smart Trunk functions, providing advanced solutions to everyday inconveniences.

Along with noise and vibration being significantly reduced at source point, the Cerato’s hi-resolution wide screen increases user visibility with its User-friendly Graphic Interface to support the driver on his travels. The Cerato’slarge display also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto respectively, providing the ideal driving environment on the road.

The new-look Kia Cerato will be available in local markets in the MEA region from August 2021.
