Three Lucky RAKBANK Customers Win 1 Million Skywards Miles Each

United Arab Emirates, 07April2021: The National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah (RAKBANK) is proud to announce the three winners for the Emirates Skywards World Elite Credit Card 1 million Miles draw. The three lucky winners were selected with the assistance of the Dubai Economic Department.

The first winner for this round of the million Miles draw is Mr Johnathan Louis Tozer, he has been in the country forapproximately 9 years, and a RAKBANK customer since last September. The unique features of the Emirates Skywards card were the motivation behind why he signed up to become a RAKBANK customer.

Johnathan Louis Tozer stated:“I’d like to start off by thanking RAKBANK for this wonderful prize of one million SkywardsMiles.I was so surprised when I got that call saying I won, honestly thought my friends were pulling a prank on me. This year has been a struggle because I haven’t been able to be around my family and actually spend time with them. So the first thing I plan on doing with these miles is getting my entire family on that Emirates plane and showing them a wonderful time in this beautiful city, Dubai.”

Mr Tariq Khwaja, a Business owner, was the second winner of this exceptional draw. He has been a customer of the Bank for almost 2 years and is an Emirates Skywards World Elite cardholder for approximately a year.

Tariq Khwaja said:“I am extremely excited to take advantage of the one million SkywardsMiles prize as I absolutely love travelling.I have to say the news of winning the remarkable prize was incredible, thanks to RAKBANK and Emirates. The main reason I registered for this Credit Card last year (pre-pandemic) was to take advantage of the splendid miles rewards programme and enjoy the lifestyle and travel benefits as much as possible. I am elated and over the moon about winning this wonderful prize and my first trip, once it is safe to travel of course, will be to take my family to Hawaii and enjoy their famous white sandy beaches.”

Mr Afaque Khan, a Business owner, was the final winner to scoop the one million Skywards Miles of the million Miles draw. He has a corporate account with the Bank since 2017 before becoming an Emirates Skywards World Elite cardholder a few months back.

Afaque Khan commented: “The one million SkywardsMiles prize I got from RAKBANK is out of this world. I am an extremely happy customer of the Bank and an avid traveler with Emirates Airline. Before COVID, my wife and I used to travel every couple of months to an exotic destination, so trust that once this is over we are going back to exploring the world together and spoiling ourselves thanks to this generous prize offered by RAKBANK and Emirates. I was at the Al Quoz branch conducting business with my Account Manager and he brought this card and its reward programme to my attention, I truly believe that if you are optimistic, then luck will definitely follow.”

Being the first of its kind promotional package in the banking sector, the million Skywards Miles draw offeredEmirates Skywards World Elite cardholders that achieved retail spends of AED 10,000 or more per month automatic entry into the draw. Similarly, customers were able to gain an additional entry if they maintained AED 500,000 as a monthly average balance in their RAKBANK Emirates Skywards Savings Account.
